Brand Guidelines Ideas
Skype Brand Guidelines: I liked how they presented their guidelines. They started off with people talking about how cool it would be if something like this existed, so it made it feel like they were having a conversation with you instead of just throwing a bunch of information at us right away. I liked the use of what looked like hand drawn designs with the word to make it less wordy and easier to understand what they were saying. They provided great examples of what to do and what not to do, my favorite example was the speech bubble and how they have very specific looking speech bubbles for their company. Another thing I really liked that they did was bring in examples of how Skype is for everyone and how they have very different people talking about why they use it. They gave examples of their partners which was a pretty cool idea. Skype
